As someone from a place abroad traditionally known for some of the best smoked eel in the world, Ardshealach’s eel was very good indeed. The texture was great and the taste was subtle and not over baring. The texture could be slightly softer ( but this could be due to the size/ age of the eel) and some could prefer a somewhat smokier hint. Overall the best I ve tasted in the UK so far.
Good but could have stronger flavour. Glad to be able to buy any after eating smoked Eel for many years
