For over thirty five  years the MacLean brothers have been baking the oatcakes in their bakery on the island of Benbecula. The small independent bakery prides itself on the quality of its products. Their oatcakes are sugar free and suitable for vegetarians. They are made from the best Scottish oatmeal.

These oatcakes go well with our Smoked Cheeses and are fantastic with our Roast Smoked Salmon Pate.

Satisfying without overpowering Benbecula Hebridean Oatcakes stand head and shoulders above the plethora of disappointingly dusty, snappy cardboard disks that masquerade as oatcakes and crackers. Delightful with even a simple veil of cold unsalted butter….but don’t stop there!

GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY

UK Mainland Orders

We will usually dispatch your order by our preferred courier 2 – 3 working days of receiving it. Please allow extra time during busy periods, such as Christmas. Delivery can be made Tuesday to Friday. If you like delivery on a specific day, please let us know as this can usually be arranged. We usually do not dispatch on Friday or Saturday, to avoid parcels being in transit over the weekend. All consignments are packed in insulated boxes with ice packs to ensure that goods are kept cool throughout the journey.

UK MAINLAND INCL. ISLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND & GUERNSEY

  • FREE for orders over £ 150.00 ( to a single address )
  • £ 7.95 for orders of up to £ 150.00 ( to a single address )
  • £ 9.95 for orders placed over the phone ( to a single address ) and orders below £ 20.00

OVERSEAS ORDERING

We no longer accept orders that are to be sent abroad, due to the perishable nature of our products and the lack of control we have in ensuring they arrive in good condition.

Returns and non-delivery

Ardshealach Fine Foods cannot be held liable for packages which were not delivered or misrouted due to an incomplete or incorrect address given by the customer.
