Having visited the shop on our Scottish holiday we ordered a delivery of smoked salmon back home which was meant to be eaten every now and then as a treat - it’s so delicious it is now almost gone. Really rate this product.
We ordered smoked meat and hot smoked and standard smoked salmon. The chicken and duck were excellent and the salmons would have been too but we found them too salty for our taste. Definitely more salt than other hot smoked salmon we've had before. Could be personal to us and if you like more salt on your food generally this could be just right for you. We'd order the meat again but the fish isn't for us unfortunately.
Very good. Excellent slices, taste, colour and appearance. Not oily or smelly.

Bought the smoked salmon deluxe hamper along with 2 kippers as a gift for family - all arrived well packaged and delivered quickly. The contents were of excellent quality and thoroughly enjoyed. We would certainly recommend and will buy again.

Needless to say the quality and taste were excellent.
As someone from a place abroad traditionally known for some of the best smoked eel in the world, Ardshealach’s eel was very good indeed. The texture was great and the taste was subtle and not over baring. The texture could be slightly softer ( but this could be due to the size/ age of the eel) and some could prefer a somewhat smokier hint. Overall the best I ve tasted in the UK so far.
This is the only smoked salmon which isn’t oily.
Cheese was lovely but think you need to rethink packaging as it was very squashed!

Delivered quickly and appropriately packaged. Amazing taste the cheeses, the salmon. The salmon pate was the best I have ever had, just gutted they had sold out of the smoked trout before I placed my order.
